Frequently asked questions
UNIDOL is the platform of Laboratorio del Dolor (Colombia) that delivers the Cero Dolor (Zero Pain) Method: an interdisciplinary treatment combining medicine, non-conventional physiotherapy and pain psychology, built around a drug-free approach. It serves patients in Colombia, international patients (UNIDOL Global) and clinics (IPS) that operate the method under license.
The Cero Dolor (Zero Pain) Method is an interdisciplinary clinical treatment that integrates three disciplines —medicine, non-conventional physiotherapy and pain psychology— in a single 72-hour cycle of 13 sessions, with a drug-free approach at its core. It is neither conventional nor alternative medicine, but an intelligent fusion of both, backed by 10 years of documented clinical practice.
It is aimed at people with persistent or chronic pain who want an option with less reliance on drugs. Every case is assessed individually in a clinical evaluation before starting, where the team determines whether the method is right for you. It does not replace emergency care or your treating physician's management.
The method has 10 years of documented clinical practice and a certified interdisciplinary team; our Smärtgel product holds INVIMA health registration (NSOC98496-20CO), verifiable at invima.gov.co. Due to legal restrictions, and to comply with Colombian and international law, we do not promise a cure or efficacy figures: we communicate documented and reported results, and every case is assessed individually.
It is the same method in two formats. In Colombia it is outpatient over 5 to 7 weeks and the initial assessment is free (Paquete Full Nacional, COP 2,950,000). UNIDOL Global concentrates it into an intensive 7-day program in Colombia for international patients, with packages from USD 1,900 and lodging and transfers coordinated.
You start with an assessment. In Colombia the initial assessment is free and we route you to the nearest unit, to our flagship unit —Clínica Sharón in Ibagué— or virtually if none is nearby. If you are abroad, you book a virtual assessment (USD 150, partly credited to your package) and we coordinate your 7-day plan.
